Summer concerts 2009
Within the framework of the Gartenregion Hannover (Hannover Gardens), clazz presents a musical project
which combines choral singing, acting and a very special location in one concert.

Workshop mit "The Idea of North"
Im Rahmen der Internationalen A-Capella-Woche ist clazz Teilnehmer an einem
Workshop mit "The Idea of North" aus Australien. Der Workshop ist öffentlich, Eintritt: 5 Euro.
Beim anschließenden Konzert der Gruppe wird clazz quasi als Vorgruppe teilnehmen.

Concert for Linden Süd
The Erlöserchurch plans to support charitable endeavours in the suburb of Linden-Süd with the
takings of their “Concert for Linden-Süd”. Clazz is once again taking part.

Guest concert Animato, Katowice
Animato is an ensemble founded in 1995 in the cultural centre of the parish of Pawlowice in Upper Silesia,
Poland. The choir sings classical a-cappella choral music and its repertoire spans the Renaissance up
to modern arrangements.
Animato is visiting Hannover as clazz’s partner choir for the Tippett project and can also be enjoyed
in their own concert.

Animato will sing works from Buxtehude, Koszewski, Weelkes and many more, conducted by Malgorzata Lucjan.

Winter concerts 2008
Michael Tippett: "A Child of Our Time"
The oratorio “A Child of our Time” presents musically the events around 9 November, 1938. The 70th anniversary
commemoration provides clazz with the appropriate setting for the reproduction of this thought-provoking
oratorio.

Midsummer Night of Choirs 2008
We have successfully conquered the pirates and captured the treasure, now we’re preparing the winter
concerts! But before then there is still the possibility to experience us live at the Midsummer
Night of Choirs at the Neustädter Hof- und Stadtkirche, Calenberger Neustadt. We are performing at 11.45 pm.

Norderney
A trip to the seaside – what more fitting than a seafaring concert program? This year clazz is travelling
to Norderney over the Pentecost holiday break and enjoying the sea air and hopefully lovely weather.

Jesu meine Freude (Jesus, my joy)
Clazz and Thomas Posth present Christmas songs, spiritual motets by Bach and Hessenberg,

Bardou, France 2007
Clazz enjoyed beautiful sunny weather in France once again this year. With a concert in Magalas in the church of
St Laurence (Program: folk songs, jazz, classic), rehearsals in Bardou’s Knight’s Hall, a bread baking day and
many hikes, the trip was over much too quickly! Take a look at our

Summer concerts 2007
The long hike is over; clazz has returned to its home. Together with the large audiences, clazz scaled to the peak of
folk music and left it on the path of jazz. We had a lot of fun on the journey and the approx.

A rucksack full of songs -
Jazz meets folk song
Who said that German folk songs and jazz don't mix?
In their next program, "A rucksack full of songs", clazz - Young Concert
Choir Hannover - proves the opposite.
In this concert clazz takes the audience on a journey.
The tour begins in the world of German folk songs and finally leads to
pop and jazz arrangements. The program includes songs by Brahms and Silcher
as well as pop classics by Stevie Wonder and Seal.

Winter concerts 2006/2007
Romantic, impressionistic and emotional - the current programme by clazz - Young
Concert Choir Hannover. With the title "Fabuleux! Fairy tale chansons from
France and Sweden", clazz tells stories of love, nature and fantasy creatures.
In the programme are compositions by Debussy, Ravel and Fauré and also works by Scandinavian
composers such as Wikander and Alfén.

Bardou, France 2006
Summer is over and also clazz's summer trip to the beautiful mountain
village of Bardou in the south of France has ended.
Clazz gave a concert in Magalas in the church of St Laurence and
entertained the audience with a mixture of Scandinavian, German and French pieces.

Summer concerts 2006
Clazz ended the summer concert season successfully.
From 28.06-02.07.06 in the theatres of the Eisfabrik and the
Künstlerhaus, around 300 audience members learned what can happen to us
singers in the course of the choir's daily life. An impression of the

7th German Choir Competition
From 20.5 to 27.5.06 the current best German choirs met for the 7th German Choir
Competition in Kiel. The rainy weather in the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein
couldn't however dampen the spirits or the performances.
Clazz, the only participant in the category "Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella"
which is not purely a jazz choir, was able to finish with 19.6 points and the
result "with good success".

Clazz sings and acts its way through the changeful daily life of a choir and neither
the darkest hours nor the greatest triumphs are left out.

On 08.10.2005 clazz took part in the 7th Lower Saxony Choir Competition,
held this year in Wolfenbüttel. In the category "Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella" the
choir received the result outstanding success.
Clazz won the 1st prize and will
represent Lower Saxony at the German Choir Competition in Kiel in May 2006.
